Not the best of days for the Christmas lights switch on and market for the village.
Absolutely teeming with rain.
Main Street now closed to traffic as the traders set up so we went earlier than usual to Waitrose for a few tasty bits to enjoy while watching Strictly tonight.
Had a coffee there and in a moment of weakness an almond croissant but no regrets, it was delicious.
Will be venturing out to watch the switch on, the village is known locally for its Christmas lights ( all paid for by the village and not the council) and see what’s on offer but such a shame for the stall holders as for many it’s a charity fundraiser .
Hope it’s drier where you are.
