Little Egret
Whilst increasingly common in England. Little Egrets are still a half decent bird on Uist, with the added spice of the chance it might be the American equivalent, a Snowy Egret. This one failed the hurdle for being snowy but was still good to see.
Every fortnight, our local community hall has been cooking a themed meal. Tonight, it being St. Andrew's Day, was Scottish food and so off we trotted. Venison stew was the take on that and very good it was too.
