A BRISK WALK

in the morning with Mischa brought us to the Solleveld. The weather soft but on the edge of the dunes a rather strong wind blew. After yesterday's long journey (we had a stop of two hours in Duisburg, where we strolled along the many Christmas huts, filled with all kinds of food, glühwein, christmas decorations and at the end a
ferris wheel) the walk was a bit too long perhaps. But after lunch we sat on the couch, reading, drinking chocolate milk and fell asleep.
In the Solleveld we came upon the shepherd with sheep and dog and my picture shows the wild horses that live there. The other black cattle we did not discover.

My haiku:

Climb the dunes detect
The horses used to sandstorms
Bowing reed at the pond

And the proverb:

Nothing comes amiss to a hungry stomach.
