DECEMBER DAY,
the first. I dreamed tonight that I was swimming in the North sea, near the Nieuwe Waterweg, too far from the shore and I saw at least one huge ship near me. I decided to swim back to the beach and felt immediately that the stream was too strong. In my dream I realised that this was a lost case, powerless I started to think nevertheless. When I was awake I knew the solution, what about a bathing-cap with an inbuild waterproof light in it! Easy to be found when drifted too far away. Now, awake, I also think of a waterproof mobile, see myself chatting how safe I feel midst in the water. Fact is I never swim in sea where it is deeper than my knees or a bit higher.
Mischa says life-jackets have already such a light. I almost wanted to deposit my idea and asked for a patent.
In the light rain Mischa and I went downhill and feeded the ducks and the swans. We were rewarded with the rain stoppping. And later for some minutes a bit of sunshine. Great first December day I would say.
My haiku:
Umbrella, spoon, balloon,
Words to remember as token
That my mind is sound
And the proverb from the book is of Swift:
Vision is the art of seeing things invisible.
