Fortified towns

At this time of the year we can come across to France through the tunnel for £25 return per car; it would be silly not to do so. We drove down to the holiday town of Le Touquet where we stopped and had a crepe for lunch to get us in the French mood and then headed on down to the fortified town of Montreuil sur Mer for the night. Today's photo is taken just as the sun was setting, lighting up the walls of the town.
