Happy Birthday to my little Sis!

Dear Diary,
 
As you can see from this old photograph, my sister and I share a love of animals.  It is her birthday today and I just wanted to share a memory of her.  She is nearly ten years younger than myself.  When she was born it was such a happy occasion.  I dotted on her.  I saved my allowance to buy her pretty dresses and small toys.  She was such an adorable child and is now a beautiful woman.

These old photographs take us careening back in time.  This photo is 55 years old.  But memories stay preserved in our minds and all it takes is a faded photograph to open the vault.  I hope she is opening some wonderful memories today too along with her presents.
