ABALONE, MOP & EPOXY

At last CC's got around to putting the bindings around this beautiful cedar table - the "rosace" (soundhole decoration) is made up from abalone & mother of pearl in a bed of black epoxy resin...

Just seen my little low-angle block plane in the top right corner - the bugger - he broke my old one & bought me a new one which he's stolen again!

In the extra I'm re-gluing the bridge with epoxy resin - if it was a decent instrument I'd use a decent wood glue, but with a crappy instrument with a plywood table - epoxy is ideal!
