I'M SUCH...

...a smartarse!

My nit-picky friend came by this morning & it was true - the G (third fret on the 6th string) sounded dead limp. He demonstrated & I confirmed - much shrugging of shoulders & commiserations...

 Out of the blue I had a light bulb moment - got out my jeweller's loupe & dripped a mini-drop of superglue under the offending fret - a wee squirt of accelerator to set it instantly - couple of swipes with a fine file...

Sorted! After all, no anger, no disappointment - only smiles :o)
