Mackintosh Carving

This is another one of the wonderful carvings inside the Mackintosh Church. This carving is located on the panels beside the doors leading to the ladies toilet and the Hall.

Mackintosh never explained the imagery, but it reoccurs right through his work.

We have a very busy weekend ahead, with a special talk on Sunday, "Reminiscences of Maria Callas" by Prof. Robert Sutherland, accompanist and friend of Maria Callas. Sunday the 2nd December would have been the 89th birthday of Maria Callas.
