The Glasgow Stock Exchange

On the way back from a meeting this morning, I took this shot of the former Glasgow Stock Exchange on the corner of Nelson Mandela Place and Buchanan Street.

The Glasgow Stock Exchange was designed by the architect John Burnet and built between 1875-1877. The building has a Venetian Gothic style, most likely influenced by his sketching trip to Italy.
