Early morning walk!

We arrived in Portsmouth at 6.45 am after a really calm overnight crossing. There was frost on the ground and it was very cold. By 7.15 we were walking along Southsea Common. The sun was soon to rise and the cold was chilling our faces. An hour and a half later we arrived back at the car. What a wonderful way to start the day! This is one of the lovely lamposts along the seafront. The rest of the day has been spent shopping and this evening we are having a relaxing evening with our son and daughter-in-law. Happy times.
