The overnight journey begins...

We are on our way on the overnight ferry to the UK from Guernsey on the slow ferry. We have had a meal and have a lovely clean cosy cabin. The sea is calm so what could be better. Left Guernsey at 5.15pm and have called in at Jersey on the way and will leave here at 9pm then slowly motor on to Portsmouth arriving at 6.30 pm. This may be the closest we get to a cruise but we love it! Can't wait to see our son and his wife!
