Not A Fungus

My mind has gone blank after cutting out hundreds of fabric snowflakes - but I am pretty sure that this is a leaf and not a fungus…

Had a 90 minute walk with Finlay to clear my head and I spotted this leaf with its multitude of colours - nicely picked out against the golden leaf litter behind.

Some devastating news from my mother last night hasn’t helped my state of mind - it would seem that her cancer has returned (if indeed it ever went away completely) - and she now has a series of scans and tests scheduled.
