stepping out

A morning out for D and me. First we visited the MOOL depot. D is going to an event on Thursday which is aimed at looking at how we can help the region become a more welcoming, inclusive and accepting place to work and live. You can read more about it on the MOOL website.


After a quickaspossible supermarket shop, we headed down to New Abbey, to the beautiful Shambellie House, to see the RPS Print Exhibition. There were also works by other photographers on show - my former college tutor Ricky Nolan, friend Alan McNeish, and members of Photography For Enjoyment Dumfries. A huge variety of established and emerging talent :-)


Next it was a short trip to the shop at Loch Arthur to buy some bread flour.


After all that, there was still time for a couple of hours' gardening and tonight is drumming night! I'll be needing another slow day tomorrow....
