Brief brightness this morning then wet.

We went to Lynne and Gavin’s for lovely lunch. Two of Lynne’S friends were also there. One had had a similar ankle break to mine 3 years ago and it was 6 months before she could walk without a boot. Nor was she able to take the boot off. Now I’m worrying I might not be fixed up for end Feb trip to Yunnan.

Oh well, in the scheme of things it’s not the end of the world. So many friends are having sad times.
