Baumkuchen/Tree Cake

When you cut a slice from this cake you can see all the rings - just like in a tree.

Normally you don't go on to eat the tree though.

It's G's Birthday today and we had people over for Kaffee (Coffee) & Kuchen (Cake).  It was good to chat for a couple of hours and now it's time for a sugar induced coma.
