Flooi

We have a little routine, the cats and me. Every morning, when I come downstairs to make coffee, they follow me into the kitchen and start miaowing. I fill the kettle and pour myself a glass of water while they do their best to trip me up and then I feed them.

Tux is bigger than Flea, so I give him slightly more, which is primarily so he won't finish his and then knock her out of the way and set about her bowl. I've pretty much got this down to a fine art now and they usually finish at the same time, at which point they sit by the back door until I let them out. (This routine didn't waiver during the couple of months that the door was broken and wouldn't open.) They are completely averse to using the catflap when I'm home.

When she comes back in, Flea likes to sit in the living room window watching people go past. Tux, on the other hand, likes to stay outside and later on goes down to the school so the children can make a fuss of him.
