Skidding in to land

Pelicans put their feet down  first when they are landing like wheels on a plane.  This one did a fine skid, probably his approach was too fast as there was a fisherman nearby with food on offer.

I haven't really done all that much today other than gardening and chores around the house.  The hounds and I did go for a lovely walk along Hams beach before heading out to the lake.
