We made it

We managed to get into town on Friday night to see the lights.  It was still quite crowded.  Unfortunately I didn't manage to get many clear shots, due to light pollution.   However this display was in an area known as Thapae Gate which has a large square suitable for static displays.  

Once back home I also managed to get a shot of the full moon.  Our staff had also light tea lights around the pavilion.   Tea lights are traditionally placed around doorways of homes and businesses.   Loi Krathong is about taking away bad spirits and letting good spirits come in.
