Loy Krathong

The plan was to head into town and look at the lanterns.  However, we soon realised that walking was our only option.  We usually use Grab (Uber) but we knew the wait would be almost an hour, so we decided on either a tuk tuk  or a song taew.  The tuk tuk we flagged down wanted 300 baht as apposed to the normal 100 baht and all the song taew's were full.  It became clear that the town would be crowded and getting dinner would be difficult.  In the end we stayed closer to home and ate in a restaurant near home.  The street and car park was still beautifully decorated.  

Hopefully we will have more luck on Saturday night.
