Biebricher Wasserturm - Biebrich Water Tower

It was a lovely day - cold, crisp & sunny.  I could have gone straight home after finishing with my errands in the city centre but i decided to have a bit of a walk instead.

It has been ages since I was anywhere near the  Wasserturm.  It appears they're building new houses around the base and renovating the tower itself (hence the crane).  I like the tower a lot.

For those of you interested in more recent history, it's exactly 8 years since Moot & I arrived in Germany for keeps.  We've had our annual discussion and we still think it was the best decision we've ever made.

G & I are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate.  A low key sort of thing though.  I really don't do loud.
