Oops

After yesterdays celebrations it was a slow start to the day, we sat over a lengthy breakfast then decided we would walk the cliff path which usually takes around an hour.  
We didn't reckon on coming across this little mishap.  So watched the rescue mission - here is Doug overseeing the proceedings.
It appears the truck loaded with stones made a slight (well that is what he will tell his Boss) calculation error and ended up almost on his side and only a little bit away from ending up in the lagoon.  He was taking the shingle further on to off load in an area where the sea is eroding the track.  In the photo the machine is taking out the stones, waiting in the background is a grunty machine already attached by wire rope to pull the truck out of the bog.  
Mission accomplished, we continued on our walk, then home for lunch before  taking our visitors on a drive around the town, wharf area, through the Scenic Reserve and home via our beautiful rural places.
