Joan & Trev

Today is all about these two - our very special friends.  50 years of marriage.  Joan & I have been besties since the first day of high school.
Today we celebrated with the rest of our group (all 12 of us) and her sister and husband.
We went for lunch to The Stables - a restaurant just over the paddock from our place, lovely lunch it was.  Then we all came back to our home e for anniversary cake and coffee, followed by wines and top shelf goodies.
Lots of laughter and reminiscing - I was a bridesmaid and Doug a groomsman.
Joan had put together photos which we put through the big TV of the many happy times we all have spent together over the 60 odd years - what a treat that was, laughing at the hairdoos, the clothing etc.  What a hoot.  Well done Joan.

Its very late, we have been chatting about all and sundry, time now for some shut eye.
