Peony

This peony is looking a picture just now!  In fact all the peonies have been lovely, possibly the wet winter we had.

Speaking of weather, on the TV news tonight they are talking of one of the driest November for some time.  We are still OK here at the moment thankfully but can see it changing if rain doesn't come soon.

And the freezers got cleaned out this morning in readiness for the arrival of a butchered hogget. A fair amount of biffing, found stuff we had forgotten, found two containers of apple juice ready for the addition of sugar.  The apple jelly looks to be a success. 

This afternoon has been spent doing Focus stuff.
