Thankful

I got BOTH my new lenses today, which I was not expecting. Getting one in half a week was amazing but given that this store usually takes two weeks for glasses I'm incredibly grateful to have my main glasses. My eyes are changing at the same rate they have been I'm just dreadfully sensitive since the accident. 

I've been specifically appreciating the dynamic range of my eyes the last few days. Working eyes are so wonderful. 

Driving home from the ophthalmologist I saw the full moon against a lavender sky. 

I got to work from home today. We got an extra two hours off. We don't have to work tomorrow or Friday because they are holidays. 

Yesterday someone gave me a hug with no notice. I'd only met her once before. I remember meeting her and our conversation and the pictures I took of another woman's business afterward and how happy I made that woman by complimenting her style by joyfully taking pictures of it. It was a wonderful day filled with terrific social interactions in a world where it felt like evil was rising and might drown us all. 

Today I got two beautiful and completely unexpected compliments. 

I am very thankful for very many things. Also, I bought pie.
