I had a wander into town to see if I could find a new pair of running shoes but there was nothing cheap enough!  As I headed to the shop for groceries I bumped into J's wife, J.  She was heading for a hotel to meet a friend for afternoon tea.  The hotel calls itself, "Edinburgh's best boutique hotel" and is, in fact, the converted office that J and I worked in together for years back in the '90s!  happy days! 

I was now running (PTP) a bit late so just got a bus to the shop near home so I had time to get out for a run before dark.   It was just 10 minutes before sunset (which is at at 3:56 these days!) so I decided it would be unwise to be running rough ground in the fading light and so had an easy run around Arthur's Seat by Queens Drive.  Blip was taken 20 minutes after sunset. 

I've an assessment day tomorrow for a different role at the same company I failed the assessment for two weeks ago!  Wish me luck!
