A working barge

We saw this barge in Burgoyne Bay a couple of days ago, and when we ran into Daryl on the trail, he told us that it was raising a sunken boat to be removed.  Today, the barge was in Fulford harbour, and the process has started to remove a derelict old boat.  Must go back tomorrow to see what progress has been made.  So interesting!
Extras: three other pics of the process and boats involved in the process.
The Barney Bentall and the Cariboo Express was outstanding!  The incredibly talented musicians visit several communities in Alberta and BC to raise money for charities in those communities.  A new musician this year was Stephanie Cadman, such a talented young woman.  This video is short and shows her fiddle and tap dancing skills.  Fulford Hall was rockin' and the variety of the music, from down-home country to full-on rock'n'roll, was fantastic.  I really wanted to hear Ridley Bent's Sidewinder again and thought I'd miss out, but he played it at the end of the concert and WOW! what a version!  It brought the house down.  There were three encores and the last one got everyone on their feet dancing and clapping. So uplifting!  I wish there was a YouTube link to this incredible group that gets together at this time of year.  If you happen to live in a community that the group visits, I'd highly recommend seeing them.  Makes me want to start learning how to play the guitar again.
Stephanie Cadman info - she has an incredible resume.  Great to see her perform, although my view was blocked and I couldn't see her feet when she was dancing.
