The First Sign of CHRISTmas

Our church participates in an international program called Operation Christmas Child. You pick up an empty shoebox or two (or eight), and fill them with clothes, toys, school supplies, and other various things. You pick either a male or a female box, and also a certain age-group.

This morning, everyone brought in the filled boxes, and put them in 4 big piles in front of the church. Our minister and a young man prayed over them, and then they were loaded into a couple of vehicles on their way to a drop-off spot. Then, they are sent all over the globe.

Our church members packed up 364 boxes. A good start to the Christmas season.
