Mushroom with a pine needle

G spotted this decaying on the forest floor.  I thought that the convolutions were amazing.  He thought it might be a morel, but I have no idea.  The only mushroom I recognize is a shaggy mane. If he finds enough of those, G fries them with butter and garlic.  A delicious treat. 
Extra: another mushroom that reminded me of a bird for some reason.
