ONE FOR POPPY!

This is cribbed from my old thesis. For me, Chartres Cathedral is the summit of all stained glass work & this window expresses it best.

The family who created these wonders travelled around the gothic world, working their magic in Paris - Notre Dame & the Sainte Chappelle, in Bourges, Sens, Reims - then Canterbury & York!

If you haven't seen Chartres Cathedral - it's worth the pilgrimage!
