"Here's looking at you kid ..."

My latest novel is about a child telling her grandfather that she doesn't like the look of a man in a photo but when he looks at it he can only see a deep dark culvert in a hillside. Half an hour later the grandfather and child walk past the photo again and the child jumps sideways in alarm, the grandfather looks at the photo again, and for a split-second he sees a pair of eyes looking out at him. 
Hence the inspiration for my  photo!
