Fishing boats

We spent the afternoon in Brighton Marina admiring the luxurious yachts parked nearby to the fishing boats.

We are staying at Malmaison Hotel on a belated birthday trip for ian, who was ill on his actual birthday.

The weather has been glorious with a brilliant blue sky. Our room faces on to the harbour and the sun setting cast a reddish hue on to the sea. We have a small balcony but it is too cold to sit outside.

We are eating in the hotel restaurant later but don't think we will be having an aperitif on the outside terrace.
