Quick, there's a free post !
4.7C bright and clear. Feeling cold although little breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound and I enjoyed our walk in the cold clear air today. When we reached the old church we saw our next door neighbour up ahead walking his Westie. He gave us a wave and continue along the road and into the field with the bridle path. Jess doesn't like Maeve. I'm not sure she likes any dogs, especially if she is out in her garden. Feisty. Very people friendly though. Maeve and I stopped to look at the bales on the trailer and take some photos, and to let them walk on down the field and enjoy their walk too.
Very blue sea today. We could see 'Valhalla VI' moored at one of the channel markers as we walked towards the shore. On the cycle path we could see Jess up ahead chasing her ball. Maeve and I went through the gate into the filed by the railway line then across the level crossing and down onto the beach. Tide quite well up, so only a few metres of sand for walking. Sand deep and soft.
All of the channel marker posts had a bird perched on top ... except the one with the triangle.
Picked up a couple of pieces of Sea Glass, a big shell with holes, and a stone with holes. Interesting. The stone could be a good thing to put at the end of one of the strands of my shell mobile/wind chime. Note to self ... start making it !
Later not very much happened. There was tea :-)
