Late in The Day

When it was my significant birthday in the summer, Elaine had a really bad cold and couldn’t come to my celebration.
I told her at the time that the three of us would go to the Old School Tearoom at Hebden near Grassington for their vintage afternoon tea at a later date.
We finally got round to going there this afternoon and it was as good as every previous time we had been.
Have had to box some of the cakes up to bring home.
Saw this lovely setting sun as we left and it was dark when we got home twenty minutes later.
Won’t be eating dinner tonight but will be have a glass of red, maybe a bit of cheese and watching Strictly of course.
