Clouds (Day 1290)
The sky was a fabulous pinky orange this morning as the dogs and I wandered up the hill first thing this morning, and it looked like the weather would be fairly reasonable all day.
A little later, I headed to the wilds of Sandwick to look at a problem with a central heating system and deal with an overflowing water storage tank. I am pretty sure that the heating problem is a result of damage caused by mice chewing wiring, the corpse of a mouse in the boiler is always a fair indication. The float valve in the water tank needed to be replaced, which was a little more difficult that it should have been as the tank is by far the biggest I have ever encountered, with space around it very restricted.
I was home in time for a quick lunch and a wander at Lyde with my beautiful wife and the woofers. The clouds today were well worth a blip.
A bit later I took a trip to town to meet a customer to discuss a job he needs done in a rental property, before heading off to find the source of a leak. Last job of the day was a loo to sort in Stromness as the sun went down (extra)
