I am a member of the Cowichan Valley Amateur Radio Society. I even have a license to operate this radio (Wouxun, KG-UVD1P). My call sign is VA7 BRE. I have never spoken to anyone on my radio. I have had my license since 2009 when I volunteered for the adventure race, Primal Quest. Radio reception was poor in the Badlands of South Dakota where I was stationed at a race check point. I could not use my radio there. And I have never used it since.

As a member of CVARS I made a new website for the club last week. Now that is an activity I enjoy.
