eagles arrive
The eagles arrived Monday and today. I saw a dozen or more bald eagles in a tree. On the Cowichan River estuary at least six trees were home to perching bald eagles. They are here to feed on the spawning salmon.
I stood under a tree that grew along side the road near the sawmill and the farm. Six eagles in the tree. Quite high up!
Most of the trees and eagles were in the distance among the farm fields.
