Functional Beauty

It's been dark and very wet all day, so an inside blip was needed.

Echoing Phil's praise yesterday for our builder's attention to detail in each step of renovating our bathroom, I thought the drain for our soon-to-be-tiled shower needed its day in the sun, so to speak.

I'm going to smile every time I look down and see this.

(Technical notes: (1) My ubiquitous blue placemat background will not be part of our shower, and (2) the round black thing below the square shiny thing will not be visible once the tiling is complete.)
