Moonlight Shadow

On our way to a friend's house tonight I noticed that the moon seemed to be particularly bright and large.

Not my most professional blip or anything (I took it while waiting for the traffic lights to turn red) but still interesting to look at!

Also I read today that apparently during the Cold War America considered blowing up the moon with nuclear bombs as a show of strength against the USSR. Not the most creditable source but could you even imagine anything quite so ridiculous?
