Just an ordinary "going to school" photo ... but not quite.

Miss C is one of the first girls in the school to make use of the new gender equality rules, as applied to uniform, and is wearing .... (gasp) shorts!

I kept expecting to hear about push back and snide comments, but no, nothing.

Good on her for wearing the much more practical, pocket including, piece of clothing. Aussie school dresses are much less practical.
