The Nimmo Brothers

Started the day in church, which was not only full to the brim, but spilled over into the grounds outside. Tutbury always has a good turn out on Remembrance Sunday, but this year the villagers outdid themselves.

A few of us popped to a local pub for a coffee and a quick snifter of port, then Sav and I popped over to his mum’s house for a cuppa.

Back home, Sav made a roast dinner whilst I had a sudden urge to tidy up the garden and then I baked a ginger cake for later.

The evening was taken up by the Nimmo Brothers, gigging for us tonight in Derby. Another excellent night of music ( if you like bluesy rock ... and I do! ).
