War Horse

On the way back from Margate we were trying to get to Canterbury by 11am to observe the two minute silence. But we passed through Birchington as the parade of veterans and organisations began so decided to stop and commemorate there. It was very moving to be part of a community and feel the support of the town.
We then headed off to Canterbury where they have their very own “Joey”. The cathedral as you would expect was splendid. And last but certainly not least, we visited Rochester as well. Lovely too.
