Number 7 at Kirkleatham Museum
The weather forecast didn’t quite play ball today and we were just about to set off for a walk when the rain started. So change of plan and we went to Kirkleatham Museum, just outside Redcar, where we knew we could get some lunch as well as visit the museum. We got interested in the rusting remains of an old steelworks locomotive and the container for molten metal that it was attached to. So quite a few rust images taken before the rain came down quite heavily again. The exhibitions of paintings were a bit disappointing and then the drive back across the moor was beautiful as the sun was doing that special low light thing it does through clouds. Unfortunately by then my early start this morning was kicking in and I never did work out quite where to stop the car. So no beautiful photos of cloud and magic light.
