Poppies

Kent got up at 2 am & I got up at 3 am this morning so that we could leave the church at 4:30 am with the youth and have them at the Columbia, SC Temple for 8:30 am.

We are still on the road coming home. It’s been a long day and so much of it on the road. That has limited my blip opportunities and I really didn’t want to blip people pulled over by the police or any of the accident scenes.

My blip is the big red felt poppy that my sister gave me and I had on the quilted vest I wore today. The inset is the poppy pin I have in my blouse button hole & which I bought at M&S in Inverness.

How I wish we still did the 1 minute of silence at 11am on Nov 11th. When I was a kid even the TV & radio went silent.

How times change (and is it always for the better?!)
