Woke up at 7am to decide that I just couldn't, so I didn't go to school, and after informing colleagues, went back to sleep for a further six hours. 

Of course the ennui from the subsequent house bound afternoon and evening meant that at the time, I actually thought this photo of curtains filtered sunshine was interesting which certainly illustrates how mind numbing a head cold can be.
