Showing off?!!

The last time I went to 'Figgate Park'; Ann's friend, Kay, saw my Blip and said, 'Molly, that looks like a very nice place for a walk. I've never, ever been there. The next time I'm looking after Cassie, the cockerpoo, please will you show me where this walk is?'

Soooo......... today we met Kay & Cassie in Figgate Park and I was in 'mega show-off mode'.

Do you want to know what I did?............................

…..............Firstly, I was zooming around like a little puppy. I was soooooooo super speedy that none of the people who we met could believe that I was 14 years old. Cassie is only 5 years old so she was pretty bouncy and super speedy too; but not as super speedy as me.

Secondly, I dived into the burn for a good old splish, splash, splosh. I think Cassie was well impressed with my diving skills. Unfortunately I forgot to check how I was going to get out of the burn. Mmmmmmm...................... I had to walk/swim a long, long, way until I found a suitable 'get out' spot. And even then, Ann had to pull me out by my collar. She was not happy about this because it made her all muddy?!!

Thirdly, Ann wanted both of us to pose for our Blip beside the loch. Cassie wouldn't sit still so Kay had to be in the Blip, to bribe her with treats. But just look who is the doggie who is not behaving......................... ME ….................... I thought it might be fun to jump up at Kay for treats and knock her into the loch at the same time. Hee, hee, hee! That would have been funny! Unfortunately I didn't jump up at Kay hard enough so she didn't fall into the loch.  Boohooo!!!

After our walk we went to the 'Sheeps Heid' for lunch. Kay had tasty soup and Ann had a fish finger sandwich and I lay under the table in 'good dog mode'. ….......Yep, I was showing off again! Cassie wouldn't settle and she was growling at me. Silly little Cockerpoo. Obviously her owners don't take her to the pub enough for her to know how she should behave. Lol!

Anyway we had a fabulous time in Figgate Park. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and we had fun, fun, fun!

PS – There were zillions of squirrels in Figgate Park and Cassie kept going off to chase them. Duh................. Everyone knows that if squirrels run up a tree, they don't come down the same one. Cassie may think she's a grown-up Cockerpoo....................... but she's still got a lot to learn.
