Skyline.....

After visiting Gail again, I had lunch in the 6th floor restaurant of Peter Jones, this time taking the opportunity to enjoy the skyline properly. It was wonderful and so clear today, even through windows. My extra is a collage of close-ups of the skyline from left to right of the V & A Museum, Imperial College London, the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park Barracks Tower and Harrods.  

Gail was so much better today than when I last saw her almost a week ago, albeit relative to the journey still to go. One visitor a day is enough and today was my turn.  Her surgeon may let her return to The Royal Marsden Sutton at the end of the week. We did a sort out of the bags that have followed her from room to room and organised her bedside locker. She is now up to a bit of reading and the occasional wordsearch. All good.
