New Town Windows

For me one of the abiding and attractive images of Edinburgh is that of windows in the New Town lit up on autumn and winter nights, giving glimpses of elegant interiors.

I loved walking past such places on cold nights when I was a student here and then in my first job , before leaving to live in the very different Western Isles.

I thought about that this evening walking back to the flat from Parliament , and there were plenty of examples to chose from to illustrate the matter.
