The Gift of Life

....which soothes my heart and brings pure joy amidst the intense grief of losing my brother earlier in the week. 

These are the two day old hands of my gorgeous new granddaughter. Naturally, I allowed my son and his wife time to make their own announcements before I made my own. She's gorgeous!!!
