Biking
Irritable start to the day.New winter gloves for motorcycling too much of a pain in the arse to get on so set off in summer gloves and will have to take them back next week.Struggled with the riding gear and getting the bike out past all the building materials.
Still once underway had a very good ride up to Whalley.Lunch in my usual spot was excellent but spoiled by the most miserable b'stard sitting opposite who managed to change the atmosphere around him.Felt sorry for his wife he looked like he had never had a day of joy in his whole life.
Enjoyed the riding despite the slippery leaves and a lot of mud on the roads. In the extras can be seen the beautiful Motto Guzzi which is nearly ready for her first service along with Stoneyhurst College and a monument to WW2 pilots who died in The Forrest of Bowland.
The alumni of Stoneyhurst is very impressive and includes Arthur Conan Doyle.
Tea and cake in Slaidburn along with a chat with a couple of fellow bikers before heading for the M6 and home.An hour cleaning the bike.
Mainly overcast but mild. Some light drizzle.
